animes out there, but volume 1 of Please Teacher has intrigued me like
no other. The story revolves around Kei Kusanagi, a student living
with his uncle, and Mizuho Kazami, a gorgeous alien who is a resident observer
for the "Galaxy Federation". Although the public thinks Kei is 15,
he's actually 18 because of a rare disease which put him in a coma for
3 years. Mizuho has been sent to Earth to prevent civilization from
walking down a destructive path. All hell breaks loose when Kei witnesses
Mizuho's arrival on Earth.
> Mizuho makes Kei promise not to tell anyone about her origin, after explaining
her good intentions. As it turns out, Mizuho is actually half alien
and human. Lucky for Kei, his hot new teacher just so happens to
move in right next door. Later, they find themselves locked in a
storage room at school. Of course the principal finds them together
in a precarious situation and Mizuho's job is on the line. That is
until Kei's uncle lies and claims Mizuho and Kei are married!
> Kei and Mizuho hastily make it official at the court house, and begin
living together. Naturally, Kei has to keep all this secret from
his friends at school, since they think he's 15 and certainly wouldn't
appreciate him "living" with the hot new teacher! Things really get
interesting as Kei and Mizuho begin to fall in love, and Koishi (classmate)
shows her affection for Kei on a "date"... |
