> Vampire Hunter D was the first Anime movie I've ever seen. This movie
was originally created in 1985, and so far has remained a cult classic
among fans and spawn one sequel that came twelve years later. With artwork
by renowned Japanese artist, Yoshitaka Amano, this is definitely a classic.
> This movie takes place in a time where humans are ruled by vampires in
an ancient feudal like system. One of the main characters of movie is a
young woman
named
Doris, who is chosen to become the Count's next bride. She eventually encounters
our hero D and hires him to stop the Count. The Count in turn sends
many of his followers to try and stop D. Will D be able to save the young
woman in time?
> Vampire Hunter D features great artwork from Yoshitaka Amano -- some
of you might recognize his work from the Final Fantasy Video Game series.
I wouldn't recommend this movie for people under the age of 16, because
it contains lots of violence, gore and sexuality. |
