> The ever popular
Rainbow Six is being converted to Dreamcast from the original PC game.
It's based on Tom Clancy's book of the same name. Basically, you
take charge of an elite, multi-national task force on a mission to stop
a terrorists from having their way with some prominent global landmarks.
> You have a
dual role -- first, you must plan your attack, then you must see it through
to success or failure. The game can be played in the first or third
person, depending on your preference. Completing your mission will
require planning, skill, stealth and teamwork. To top it off, Rainbow
Six will have intricate 3D locales, an interactive environment and great
atmosphere (just like the PC counterpart).
> The Dreamcast
version will feature split-screen multi-player gameplay -- while internet
play was supposed to be included, this looks unlikely now (thanks to the
delay of Sega's online network). Rainbow Six for Dreamcast will also
include the expansion missions from the PC add-on pack called "Eagle Watch". |
