Basics
  • Units with a crest to the left of their icon are leaders.  Every army (up to 4 units) needs at least one leader.
  • Don't leave castles which have road(s) to enemy castles unprotected for too long as you're sure to lose them.
  • Let your armies rest in between battles (by leaving them in a castle) so that they can heal their wounds.
  • Send a weaker army first against a strong enemy followed immediately by your strongest army.  If your first army fails, they'll be sent back to the nearest castle, but at least you should be able to wear down the enemy for your strong army.
  • Don't forget to occasionally try recruiting enemy units as they don't fight against you when you succeed.
  • During battles, the units with a blue circle are friendly and those with a red one are the enemy.
  • Formation Abbreviations: R=Runner, D=Defend, A=Attack
