Babbage's
Stops Pre-orders | DREAMCAST
> According to what I've learned from my sources at Babbage's/Software
Etc. (BSE), the company has basically pre-sold out of Dreamcast consoles
already. BSE is expecting to receive 100,000 units for D-day and
they're basically all sold! There are a few BSE stores still taking
pre-orders, but these are the individual stores who have not met their
company provided expectations. I have been informed that two of the
BSE stores in my area (Cleveland) have pre-sold 200 and 400 consoles each.
Another area shop (non-BSE) has pre-sold nearly 150 consoles.
> As speculation goes, Electronics Boutique will probably get about 100,000
units too. This leaves anywhere from 150,000-300,000 consoles (depending
on how many Sega can deliver) for other retailers like Toys 'R Us, Best
Buy, Kay Bee, etc...
