> According to sources in Japan, Sega Enterprises president Soichiro Irimajiri
will overshadow the release of PSX2 next March by announcing Sega's DVD
intentions for Dreamcast. It will be interesting to see if the media
complains that Sega's DVD player will be an add-on while giving Sony a
free pass on the fact that internet/network compatibility for the PSX2
will be... an ADD-ON.

New Naomi

> Sega unveiled two new Naomi games at their recent arcade show in Japan.
First they announced 18 Wheeler: American Pro Trucker. In it, you
must race across America in an 18 wheel semi against rival truckers.
The arcade cabinet will be custom built, as usual, to simulate a truck
complete with huge steering wheel. The other new game is Mars TV.
It's a mini-game-filled Naomi title centering on a fictional "Mars TV"
channel game show.
