> A once fantastic RPG localizer, Redding, CA-based Working Designs
hasn't published any games for over a year. They recently closed
their doors forever, without even one game ported to Xbox.
Some of their most popular localizations were 16-bit and 32-bit games for
Super Nintendo, Sega CD, Saturn
and Playstation. Here are some of the best games they
brought stateside:
-
Lunar: The Silver Star
(Sega CD/Mega CD)
-
Lunar: Eternal Blue
(Sega CD/Mega CD)
-
Dragon Force (Sega
Saturn)
-
Iron Storm (Sega
Saturn)
-
Magic Knight Rayearth
(Sega Saturn)
-
Alundra (Playstation)
> Working Designs may be out of business (Sega
lives on, I might add), but their president, Victor Ireland,
and some staff plan to do work for other publishers for the time being.
They're probably heading for the realm of Microsoft.
