> As many Capcom fighter fans know, the Street Fighter Alpha series has
always been best served up with the power of Sega's dual 32-bit monster
-- that is, until the Dreamcast arrived. Anyway, Capcom's latest
Saturn effort is none other than the animation intensive Street Fighter
Zero 3 (SFZ3) -- known in America as SF Alpha 3. Add the Saturn's
4 MB RAM cart and we'll surely get the ultimate 32-bit version of the game.
If Capcom stays the course, we can expect quick loading, tons of animation
and NO slowdown.
> Most purists agree that SFZ3 is the best in the series. I'm looking
forward to the return of my favorite Street Fighter -- Blanka! At
any rate, there are lots of other characters in the game including Chun-Li,
Cody, E. Honda, Sodom, Gen, Adon, Sagat, Ken, Nash, R. Mika, Dan, Sakura,
Cammy, Vega, Zangief, Karin, Rolento, Dee Jay, Ryu, M. Bison and more...
All the arcade backdrops and hand-drawn beauty should remain intact.
> The gameplay is supposed to be dead-on arcade exact... Thanks to
the Saturn's excellent control pad, I'm positive it will be. Oh,
and don't forget the V-isms, X-isms, and Z-isms -- it's in there.
> Import fans will surely gobble up what will likely be the last major
release for the Saturn. SFZ3 with 4 MB RAM usage will make a nice
finale. By the way, importing fighters has always been worthwhile
and easy... |
