> OutRun 2006: Coast 2 Coast is the sequel to last year's
OutRun
2, an excellent arcade racer. This time around Sega
is releasing the game on Xbox, PS2, PSP and PC.
Once more,
Sumo Digital is at the helm of the conversion.
> OutRun 2006 introduces a new upgrade scheme in "OutRun
Miles", which can be earned while racing. Once earned, head to
the showroom to exchange Miles for new Ferrari cars (including
all-new race-tuned models), more music, new courses and more. Miles
can be accrued in single-player and multiplayer modes.
> High stakes racing across America takes place in one of four Quickstart
single player modes. Drive Coast 2 Coast in Heart Attack or Race mode,
while enjoying the scenery of American canyons, great forest redwoods and
west coast beaches. Beat the clock and your rivals across 15 branching
stages in OutRun mode. Back by popular demand is the honey-pleasing
Heart Attack mode, where you must meet the requests of your female passenger.
Lastly, Time Attack mode returns with the challenge of your ghost or that
of anyone's (via Xbox Live upload).
> In Multiplayer mode, your skills in Outrunning are gauged in the Xbox
Live community, while racing with up to six players head-to-head.
Play in Quick Game, Custom Game, and Create Game modes, in an effort to
be ranked #1 in the world! This should add greatly to the replayability
factor.
