> The Elder Scrolls series have been long running for well over 6 years
when the second installment, Daggerfall, was released on the PC, which
was one of the best examples of love-it-or-hate-it games. Some players
over looked the few flaws in the game and found it to be one of the best
RPGs to date. It looks like Bethesda won't let us down with the third installment
coming to the PC and Microsoft Xbox this summer.
> Morrowind is more like an online RPG with no real specific quest to get
done right away, instead you can go explore the towns or hit the roads
in any direction, and see where they take you. With over 3,000 NPCs, more
than 300 dungeons, more than 500 basic spells, and more than 200 types
of creatures, there are many things to do and people to meet. The NPCs
are very unique with with their own faces, personalities, affiliations,
and dialogue. Although there is no voice acting, there is said to be thousands
of
pages of dialogue. This game is shaping up to be a great RPG on the Xbox,
with lush, detailed environments and vivid towns. I can't wait for this
game.
> Morrowind is an open-ended, non-linear role-playing game that is sure
to attract attention among Xbox RPG fans. The two prequels won countless
awards for being great RPGs on the PC. Therefore, I have high hopes
for the third installment of the series. |
