Intro
|
> There have been many great Spider-Man games over the decade but so far
this takes the cake. Treyarch has done it again with another sure
fire hit. Spider-Man: The Movie Game (SMTMG) will let you take the movie
home with you a little early this summer, so get ready for the ultimate
spin on the Microsoft Xbox. |
Graphics
|
> SMTMG on the Xbox surpasses any of the other games on the other systems.
The CG cut-scenes are beautiful and well thought out. The in-game character
animations are great and makes it feel like you're right along Spider-Man
swinging through the rooftops of New York. All of Spidey's signature moves
were perfectly nailed by Treyarch. The Xbox makes Spidey come to life on
your TV, thanks to Microsoft Xbox, Treyarch, and Activision. |
Control
|
> The control couldn't have been better. I played this game with the original
Xbox controller and found no problems. I originally thought the Xbox controller
would be a problem, but I was proven very wrong within 5 minutes of playing
it. All of Spidey's moves are easy to execute with the controls on the
Xbox. Webslinging through New York never looked so good, and is actually
easier on this game. The controls are very well done on this game. |
Sound
|
> The music really pumps you up to kick some bad guy butt. The only problem
I had was sometimes Spider-Man and his opponents would repeat the same
witty (but eventually annoying) puns. Oh yeah, guess whose voice was used
for Spider-Man himself? Figured it out yet? Tobey Maguire himself does
all the voice acting for Spidey in this game. The sound effects are good,
but could've been better. |
Fun
|
> SMTMG is very fun and will keep you entertained if you are a Spidey fan.
The game has tons of secrets for you to unlock and many different training
levels for you to practice (for your forthcoming adventure to become the
ultimate hero). This game is really fun but some of the challenges are
kind of easy and are quickly overcome. Oh yeah and don't forget to watch
out for cameos of other villains exclusively on the Xbox. |
