         > Hurray for companies going back into their archives in an effort to milk old material.  This DVD combines 3 previously VHS/LD-only Earthshaker videos: a live performance in Shibuya-Kokaido (Tokyo) from their "Fugitive" tour in 1984; a collection of music clips from their Fugitive and Midnight Flight albums; and a collection of music clips from their Passion album.  Included are 7 live songs, 14 music videos, plus a few intro and credits tracks.

         > This DVD goes back to the early years of Earthshaker -- a time when heavy metal was king.  Songs from their best three albums (IMO) are featured here.  With the acquisition of this compilation and the 'Live in Budohkan' performance (both on DVD), I can finally lay my Laser Disc player to rest.  At any rate, the "Fugitive" performance looks and sounds decent enough.  The video clips sound great and range from corny to typical MTV-fare.

         > The best live track would have to be "More".  It has always been one of my favorite songs on the Fugitive album.  It's a memorable metal-anthem with smooth, precise guitar riffs.  On the other side, my favorite video clip is "The Night We Had".  Without a doubt, this is Earthshaker's best song from the Passion album.  It's a ballad that will tear out out your guts and feed them to the amplifiers.
    BOTTOM LINE:
         > Finally, a day I thought would never come.  A collection of classic Earthshaker concert and video performances easily attained by Americans.  If you're a fan of Earthshaker, Loudness or EZO, then this is a must-have.  The only thing left on my list is Earthshaker's "Overrun" CD...
